My mom sent me this article a few days ago. It’s worth a read…

The Borjas and Ramirez families were two of MANY families impacted by my mom and dad’s ministry. This article only scratches the surface of the life-change that has resulted from these two families. Our hearts and prayers go out to both the Borjas and Ramirez families for the ultimate sacrifice.
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13.
Rico Borjas and Eric Ramirez
though not related, were brothers at heart
“not easily separated” dad says
their lifelong friendship had an early start
tied together at birth by heritage
more in common than not, they grew as friends
each willing to risk all on limb and ledge
life fully lived, not expected to end
there’s something more that perhaps you don’t know
each placed trust in Christ, for His glory lived
God, family, country not just a motto
in that order, they’d say, our lives we give
for that their memories are now enshrined
on Highway 44, memorialized
Thanks Rico and Eric. We honor your memory and bring fame to the Father on your behalf.
Grace and peace,
Delton
